What used to be the former federal utility site known as the Georgetown West Heating Plant, a building that has sat stagnant for years, in its hay day generated steam for neighborhood federal buildings. It was decommissioned and sold at auction in 2014. The building is now being transformed into a 300-million-dollar project called the Four Seasons Private Residences.

W.B. Hopke Recognizes Billy Green, Superintendent for His 20 Years of Exemplary Employment
Billy Green, superintendent, has worked for W.B. Hopke for more than 20 years. As a loyal and dedicated part of our management team, we felt that it was overdue to pay him tribute and tell his story.
In 2022, the planning commission approved new construction for the Founders Row II project in Falls Church, VA. The new six-level, multi-family apartment rental and mixed-use building includes 280 new apartment units. The ground floor will dedicate 22,000+ square feet of retail street frontage along West Broad Street and South West Street.
In January 2023, W.B. Hopke broke ground for a new wet utilities project located at 1830 Michael Faraday Drive in Reston, VA. The project, named Midline Block C, is part of a larger planned residential four block community, office and retail project that will eventually include eight buildings, 1058 dwelling units, 259,845 square feet of office space and 251,150 square feet of retail space.
Rosy Lopez is celebrating his 25th year with W.B. Hopke Co. We are honored that Mr. Lopez has spent so many years working for Hopke, and in celebration of his remarkable career, we want to pay him tribute and share his story with our employees, clients and vendors.
On Sunday, April 23, Good Shepherd Catholic Church located at 8710 Mount Vernon Hwy in Alexandria, VA, celebrated the groundbreaking for their new project that includes a new chapel and other multi-use facilities for the church.
