Modera Kirkwood

Hopke has substantially completed construction of a new apartment building in Arlington, VA called the Modera Kirkwood. The critical path on the project involved rerouting an existing 84” storm main that ran through the center of the site by installing 420+ LF of 8’x8’ box culvert along the project’s exterior. This storm line relocation allowed the project’s mass excavation and underground construction to begin. Hopke worked on the project for Mill Creek. Hopke provided all of the wet utility infrastructure on the project including the box culvert installation, a 6’x24’ Bayfilter, a water lateral with a new meter vault, a 12” insertion valve in Washington Blvd, and 2 new sanitary laterals.
