  • Responsible for financial performance of assigned projects from contract award to completion
  • Ability to multi-task across numerous projects is essential
  • Responsible for material procurement, permitting, change order management, and document control

  • Responsible for all pre construction activity from project inception to contract award
  • Capable of performing takeoffs, soliciting and vetting quotes from vendors and subcontractors, and reviewing contract scope documents
  • Good communication skills for interacting with customers and company employees in the preparation of a proposal
  • Proficiency in various computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, Bluebeam/Adobe, and estimating software
  • Must have CDL and clean driver’s license
  • Capable of inspecting truck equipment including lights, tires, brakes, fuel, and oil
  • Good communication skills for communicating with field personnel, office personnel, and various third parties for pick up and delivery
  • Responsible for safety, quality, and production of entire pipe crew
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both in person and in written correspondence
  • Capable of reading and understanding plans, understanding grades and grade stakes, knowledgeable of equipment operation
  • Operate track type vehicle equipped with a hydraulically powered boom and stick to lift bulk materials, lay pipe, set trench box, excavates for pipe operation or dirt operation
  • Expected to understand basic equipment operation including starting engine, shifting gears, using feet and hands to control movement of machine, operation of bucket to fill or dump bulk material
  • Perform routine maintenance on loader such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning of tracks.
  • Understand grades, grade stakes, cut to grade and be able to check grade
  • Operates track type or wheel based vehicle equipped with front mounted bucket to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage areas, to load trucks, and to fill trenches to correct grade
  • Expected to understand basic equipment operation including starting engine, shifting gears, using feet and hands to control movement of machine, operation of bucket to fill or dump bulk material 
  • Perform routine maintenance on loader such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning of tracks.
  • Be able to place fill material in proper place and to grade.
  • Responsible for all work within trench, including safety and meeting local jurisdictional requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining grades
  • Ensuring proper compaction over pipes
  • Setting structures at correct elevations and angles
  • Hand digging at existing utilities requirements
  • Move material necessary for completion of the job
  • Capable with shovel and broom
  • May be required to perform basic flagging or signage operations for road work
