In May of 2023, W.B. Hopke was awarded the wet utilities work for the Four Seasons Private Residences project in Washington DC. Hopke, subcontractor to Walsh Construction is handling the installation of wet buildings utilities, which include sanitary, storm drainage, and water. Their work began in October 2024and is scheduled for completion in 2025 , but what is fascinating about this project is that the Four Seasons Private Residences is a redevelopment of the old Georgetown’s West Heating Plant and apparently the property has become a really hot investment in DC as many working in the current administration’s cabinet are buying homes. In fact, orders for homes has already begun and the building is still under construction with square footage selling at record high prices. For more information, read the article linked here.
