Hopke Nearing Completion at ATLA Columbia Crossroads Wet Utilities Project in Falls Church, VA

What began as a concept and catalyst project in Bailey’s Crossroad is becoming a reality. The ATLA Crossroads project, a new five-story apartment building located at 5851 Columbia Pike in Falls Church, VA, will include 361 apartments and three townhomes. The Wood Partners project which began in March of 2023 and is scheduled for completion in 2025, will include twelve percent of the building for affordable dwelling units (ADU’s). The project includes an activated streetscape, public park spaces and housing.

W.B. Hopke Continues with the Sanitary and Water Renovations at the Joseph Hensley Park in Alexandria, VA

Renovations of Joseph Hensley Park, located at 4200 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria, VA, began in 2018 by Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities (RPCA) and the City of Alexandria. The initial recommendations proposed in 2014 were amended in 2021 for the implementation for improvements to be scheduled in two phases.

Hopke Continues with Storm, Sanitary and Water Project at 11th and Vermont Apartments in Arlington, VA

Construction at the 55,667 SF redevelopment project site located at 1031 N. Vermont Street Arlington, VA 22201, between 11th Street and Vermont in the Ballston area, was the original location of a two-story church and an adjacent parking lot. The site is now being transformed into a beautiful mixed-use residential community of townhomes and multi-family units in the heart of Ballston.

W.B. Hopke Awarded New Sanitary and Storm Project at the Crystal House in Crystal City, VA

The Crystal House project is largely financed by Amazon who contributed $381.9 million to the Washington Housing Conservancy, a DC area non-profit and financing partner for the purchase of the 16-acre site in 2020. The effort will help stabilize rising rents at the luxury apartment building, a move that will create and preserve 1,300 affordable housing units at Crystal House.

It’s always very satisfying to wrap up a long-term project successfully. W.B. Hopke recently completed the final punch list for Ovation at Arrowbrook Apartments located at 13325 Fairfax Ridge Avenue in Herndon, VA. W.B. Hopke is proud to announce the completion of the wet utilities project at The McGowan Family Athletic Center at Oakcrest School located at 1619 Crowell Road in Vienna, VA.
