The W.B. Hopke wet utilities project at Alta Crossroads aka Alta Nova, overseen by general contractor Wood Partners, was successfully completed on October, 11, 2024. Alta Crossroads consists of luxury residences from sleek studios to three-bedroom townhouses. Hopke’s work included sanitary, storm and water installation underground at 5851 Columbia Pike, Falls Church, VA.
Congratulations to W.B. Hopke on the recent completion of wet utilities at The Six, a luxury residential high rise with 316 units located at 6400 America Blvd., Hyattsville, MD. The project, which Hopke began in 2022, included sanitary, water and storm and was overseen by general contractor, CBG Building Company. The work was completed in late summer 2023.

After 20 years with W.B. Hopke, one might think that senior project manager, Paul Cloutier would begin slowing down or a least take it a little easier. Yet Paul has no intention of winding down anytime soon. At age 67, Paul still gets up each morning at 3:30am to work out at his local gym, and he’s in the office from 4:30am to 4:30pm. What motivates Paul to go to work each day? He thoroughly enjoys what he does, and he loves working with the people at Hopke.

In late September 2024, the Inova Health System broke ground on two new hospitals in Alexandria and Falls Church, respectively. Each hospital is considered an acute care hospital and will replace Inova Alexandria Hospital to become Inova Franconia-Springfield, joining Inova HealthPlex as the systems first hospital in Springfield, Virginia. Inova Franconia-Springfield will be state-of-the-art offering patients in Northern Virginia and the region world-class medical treatment.

W.B. Hopke is proud to announce that in late November 2024, Turner Construction awarded Billy Green, Hopke Superintendent, a safety award at the IAD-450 Cosner Tech data center development project in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
In November 2024, W.B. Hopke was awarded the wet utilities project for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Headquarters (CISA), a 630,000 square foot building located at St. Elizabeths West Campus and Martin Luther King Jr Avenue in Southeast DC. The project will consolidate the CISA workforce with the Department of Homeland Security workforce at one location.
