Hopke Begins Wet Utilities Work on the Loudoun County Science Center Museum Project, Scheduled for Completion in 2027

Construction for the Northern Virginia Science Center Museum in Loudoun County, VA has begun. The new museum will sit on a five-acre parcel of property that adjoins to parkland and the 200-acres at the Broad Run Stream Valley as part of a 424-acre mixed use Kincora development by Tritec Real Estate company. W.B. Hopke project manager, Svetla Todorova indicated that Hopke will begin work in July and expects to complete their scope in 2025. Hopke, a subcontractor to Balfour Beatty, will be installing wet utilities to include domestic water, storm, sewer and fire lines as per the award.
